ART PORTFOLIO
Bashkim Berisha
Bashkim Berisha is a Kosovar-Irish artist whose energetic mediums paintings fuse vibrant color explosions with nearly three decades of life across Ireland.
Working mainly with acrylic, mix- media and oil, his artwork translates mood, memory and surroundings into bold, expressive surfaces that invite close looking and spontaneous interpretation, where signature flashes of gold notes illuminate texture and motion.
The artist’s work frequently centers on sailing, boats, and water, expressing the currents of life and the sea becoming a recurring motif across his canvases. Another passion of the artist is the abstract expression of the raw, emotive freedom, leading to pieces that channel subconscious impulse through spontaneous drips, pours and layered mark making.
With paintings held in many homes across Ireland and abroad, Bashkim recently opened his Art Gallery, in addition to his long standing Restaurant, BR Bistro, in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, where his latest works are available for viewing and purchase. He invites viewers to experience art in a space that blends visual energy with hospitality and community.
